Chenmark Holdings is a team of small businesses committed to each other and to the constant pursuit of better. We work with retiring owners and current entrepreneurs to provide liquidity, preserve legacies, and position companies for long-term success. Chenmark companies share a commitment to our core values of: Chasing Better, Keeping Score, Playing the Long Game, and Putting the Team First.
Chenmark employees maintain a passion for small business, a significant competitive drive, a willingness to grind, and a deep desire to have a tangible impact on employees, customers, and the community at large.
Chenmark is currently seeking a Generalist Associate (GA). The Chenmark GA Program is an accelerated leadership development program designed to give individuals with the drive to be a company leader the skills and experience needed to do so. This program sets GAs on a course to run their own small business while helping Chenmark grow in line with our core values.
In this role, the GA will work alongside our management team and GVPs to support Chenmark's M&A activity and subsidiary company operations. On the M&A side, the GA will be trained in the areas of investment analysis, financial modeling, transactional accounting, and deal execution. On the business operations side the GA will work on a constantly varied mix of challenges related to sales, operations, HR, finance, technology, and everything in between..
Successful GAs spend one to three years in the role, before advancing into the Generalist Vice President (GVP) program. Advancement is based on the balance of performance, skillset, and the availability of opportunities at existing companies and newly acquired businesses.
When evaluating candidates, character and attitude are more important than prior experience. If you have what it takes to be a small business leader, we'll help you develop the tools necessary to be effective.
